Robotics, Applied Particle Physics, Automatic Control and Systems Engineering
Originally I am a graduate of the ESIME, the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) in Zacatenco México City, where I obtained a BSc in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
I gained my Master of Science degree in Control Systems and Doctor of Philosophy in Automatic Control & Systems Engineering from the Department of Automatic Control & Systems Engineering at the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom.
Following a three-year engineering research position at Tecnalia Research & Innovation in San Sebastian-Donostia Spain, I became a Research Associate in the department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Sheffield in 2011 providing research input to the ATLAS ITk (Inner Tracker) Upgrade Detector at CERN, the Central European agency for Nuclear Research.
From 2016, I became a Research Fellow working with industry partnerships developing novel manufacturing technologies.
